Lightroom CC keeps crashing and restarts my iMac (new update)

Iv'e been having problems with my newly updated Lightroom CC. When editing my iMac freezes after a few mintutes and then my computer restarts itself. No other programs are open just LR CC.

Sorry that Lightroom is crashing and as a result your computer is restarting.

Which version of Lightroom are you using and when exactly does the app crashes and freezes your computer? Does that happen while using a particular tool or feature? 

Also, which version of macOS are you running on your iMac?

I have the same problem. Using MacBook Pro (mid 2015), catalina OS 10.15.1, LR Cloud 4.1.

If I quicklyprocess a photo (that needs minimal processing) I have to rush to export it before it crashes.

Please help! I need a 12 photos processed for Thurs. evening. It is time consuming and frustating.

I tried using LR Classic first but couldn't import any photos. It kept telling me it couldn't write the photos into LR.
