Yesterday i edited a photo for some hours.

I have shutdown my mac just like normal. Today my edits are complety gone, hours of work are wasted!

How can this be? Is there a fix to restore my history or anything?

This is a bug that has not yet been fixed. If you quit Lightroom with an edited image still open, the edits are not saved/uploaded. There is a work around: What you need to do before quitting is either go back to grid view, or select another image. That forces Lightroom to save/upload the edits. Unfortunately there is no way to retrieve what you lost.
