Lightroom CC turning around (blue circle)

I'm using the latest version of lightroom CC on my Mac

As soon as I want to move from the welcome screen, I'm getting the blue circle and no further movement
This isn't the case when I'm using the web version
Question is there a limit of picture within a single catalog ?  Currently I'm around 42.000 pictures ...
Or which steps should I take ?

Seems the issue is linked to my NAS

Lightroom doesn't seem to appreciate stocking the original on a NAS, I've now switched to a USB HDD and the app is working perfectly no more blue circle

Pity the handling of NAS isn't better...

Have you recently power cycled your computer? 42 thousand pictures shouldn't be a problem for Lightroom. What version is your OS?

If power cycled means stopping the Mac by keeping the power button pushed, I may have done this recently
