Lightroom cloud worthless

Everything about Lightroom Cloud is just about wortless. Painfully slow to load and even worse when importing and syncing RAW photos. Lightroom 6 was a much faster program. It is not my Mac or upload and dowload speeds. The problem is Adobe. A huge disappointment.

Lightroom is almost an unuseable photo program.

If you were previously using Lightroom 6 it could be that Lightroom Classic is more suitable for your needs. If so, contact Adobe directly to switch your plan.

Lightroom 6 does not work with 64 bit. If it did I would not have switched.
The forums and online reviews are all correct. Lightroom cloud is a piece
of crap photo program.

Lightroom Cloudy is a completely different program not intended to replace Lightroom 6 or Classic. It has different strengths and weaknesses. For automatic syncing of everything between devices it beats Classic/LR6 hands down. I love it!

Like it or not it did replace Lightroom 6. Lightroom 6 will not run on a
Mac running the latest OS Catalina. Adobe is pushing the subscription
service. There are no more updates for 6. Hard to enjoy the great parts of
Lightroom Cloud when the negatives outweigh the positives. I have been
working a bit with Luminar. Maybe not as sophisticated as Lightroom but
much faster. Might be time for a switch.

"it did replace Lightroom 6."

NO, It did NOT!

Lr-6 has been replaced by Lightroom-CLASSIC. Now at version 9.2.  (progression 6 > 7 > 8 > 9 )

Lightroom-CLASSIC is the local folder based program that keeps you photos on your hard-drive, just as Lr-6 does.

I suggest you check with Adobe to be sure you have the Photography plan that includes Lightroom-CLASSIC.

You will be so pleased with all the improvements that have been made since Lr-6 was released.

And you Lr-6 catalog will simply update to work with Lr-Classic.

Regards. My System: Lightroom-Classic 13.2 Photoshop 25.5, ACR 16.2, Lightroom 7.2, Lr-iOS 9.0.1, Bridge 14.0.2, Windows-11.
