Lightroom Desktop 3.3 does not respond and can't close the app

Hello there,

I've recently switched  to the photography plan, All the programs work just fine ,but lightroom version 3.3 won't respond and I can't close the program to update to v 3.4

 

What can be done to fix this issue?

Sorry that Lightroom Desktop 3.3 does not respond and you can't close the app. 

 

What is the operating system you're working with? Please restart your computer and do not start Lightroom Desktop. Open the Creative Cloud desktop app and update to the 3.4 version of Lightroom dekstop. See https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/keeping-lightroom-up-to-date.html#Whatisthemostcurrentversion

 

If that still doesn't help, would you mind resetting the Lightroom app preferences to defa

If that still doesn't help, would you mind resetting the Lightroom app preferences to default? Press and hold the Shift + Option + Delete keys.(Mac) or Press and hold the Shift + Alt keys while
starting Lightroom. A dialog box should appear asking you restore the preferences.
