I am trying to make a decision on how to handle my images within Lightroom and how to store them Hard drive or the cloud.

Any help would be much appreciated.

1. What is the best iPad to edit Lightroom raw images on.

2. What is the best way to store images - Hard drive or via iCloud.

3. Currently I have 4tb’s of images and its growing which is stored on my 5tb iMac.

4. Backups are on two 5tb separate drives.

5. My thoughts are to get say a 20tb WD MyCloud hard drive which would allow me to store all my photo data.

6. By using a WD MyCloud drive would allow me to access my data from anywhere.

7. What are the benefits of using iCloud storage over say a MyCloud hard drive.

8. What is the cost of using iCloud storage.

9. I currently subscribed to the Adobe plan which gives me Lightroom Classic & Photoshop.

10. Would I need to re-subscribe to get to get Lightroom CC.

Thanks for any help offered. Bill

I think you are confusing a few things. iCloud is Apple's cloud storage, it has nothing to do with Lightroom and does not work with Lightroom. Lightroom Classic stores images locally, Lightroom stores originals in the cloud. You can't (only) store originals locally if you use Lightroom.
