I heve recently received error messages when trying to open lightroom Classic, Namely 'The Lightroom Catalogue named 'Lihghtroom Catalogue' cannot be opened becauser another appolication already has it opened. Which is not the case! Any suggestions on how to rectify this?
Find your catalog .lrcat file on your hard disk. There will be a file next to it with a lock extension. Drag that to your trash/recycle bin. Now you should be able to load the catalog.
