Lightroom not responding and freezing computer after the new update

After the new update, i'm getting a not responding message often and it freezes my cpu. Im so tired of the updates. If its not broke, don't try and fix every little thing. Add this add that. Im paying a monthly fee for a service that it causing me more headaches than its worth.

Sorry that Lightroom is often not responding and also freezing your computer. 

 

Which version of Lightroom are you using and what is your operating system? 

 

As Lightroom is running freezing and not responding, could you please try turning off the GPU option from Lightroom's preferences? Go to Lightroom > Preferences > Performance tab > Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor" > Restart Lightroom and let us know if it helps?
