Hello,
I am new to Lightroom CC and have been using LR Classic for the past several years. I saw a post from 2017 where a user was told there is not "edit as smart object in PS" option in LR CC. Is this still the case? Is there a work around? And, are you really missing out on editing potential without opening as smart object?
I don't want to go back to LR Classic as I would like to use my tablet for editing away from home but only Lightroom CC allows you to edit raws from the cloud.
Hi there,
Lightroom desktop does not have the option to open images in Photoshop as Smart Objects.
However, it would really help if you can share your feedback on our community: https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/categories/photoshop_family_lightroom_cc

For the purpose of moving image from Lightroom to Photoshop as a Smart Object, you may use Lightroom Classic on your computer. See https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/open-lightroom-photos-external-applications.html#open...
Thanks,
