Lightroom ver 3 consumes all memory and crashes within 3 minutes from launch

Hi Guys, 

I have a problem with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom ver 3.0. I'm running the latest software 10.15.1 macOS Catalina on a 2019 MBP i9.

When I launch the program, it never stops filling the memory, computer starts getting all hot and says it needs to close program from lack of memory and when LR gets to about 120GB it crashes. 

Is this a known issue? I browsed the forums but didn't find any info about this.  I tried with GPU acceleration and without, but it doesn't change anything.
