Looking for speed and efficiency in Lightroom

Hi,

I'm new to LR. Trying to figure out how to quickly flag or separate or save favorite shots the first time through, so I can identify them at a high level.

I have flagged favs in the desktop app, but I still have to go into each image individually to see if it's flagged. Not helpful. Plus, when I open the same images on mobile, I don't see any evidence of which are my favorites.

Thanks in advance for your advice.
