Missing raw files in Lightroom

I can't find some of my raw files in Lightroom. At first, I thought I had deleted them, but I was able to locate them on the hard drive, now when I try to import them again I get the message the files were already imported to LR, but I can't find them anywhere in LR!!!!

Any ideas, or suggestions?
