moving photos from Lightroom 4.4 on pc to Lightroom classic on Mac

I am trying to move photos from pc to mac; the photos import to lightroom classic but they show up as blanks and need to be synced in the cloud, a very slow process.

Is there a simpler method that does not include the cloud?

There is no Cloud involvement required!

Do NOT Import any photos to Lr-Classic!
