I'm on a windows 10 laptop PC. When I export a raw photo I notice the process' RAM use quickly goes up from 1 GB to over 6 GB. If I try to export more than about 3 photos to JPG, it quickly maxes out my RAM, slowing my entire OS to a crawl. The memory leak is so bad even the curser and keyboard becomes unresponsive. The only way to restore is to manually power off the laptop with the button on the side. I know my computer is older (bought in 2015), but 12 GB RAM should be plenty. At least it was. At least it was before the update. Exporting photos one at a time and closing / re-opening Lightroom in between is a workaroud, but it's pretty inconvenient. Hope this issue gets fixed. Please don't tell me this is normal and the only solution is to buy a new PC. 😞
