Hi, with my past 2 photo dumps to Lightroom every 10 or so photos there is a distorted one. The distortion changes with when you click on the photo but it remains terribly distorted. The image is intact on the camera and when viewing the SD card from Windows so the issue lies within Lightroom. In order to download the photo again, I have to delete it from Lightroom/disk and then upload it manually. This had never happened before. I'm on the current version of Lightroom (not Classic). See attached photo. Please advise.

Camera: Nikon D750

Memory Card: Sandisk Extreme Pro 256GB

Laptop: HP Omen 15 - 15.6" 4K HDR OLED, i7 10750H 6-core, 16GB RAM, RTX 2070 Super Max-Q

Upload method: SD card inserted into laptop SD slot and uploaded directly to Lightroom

I can't help, but I am having a similar problem. This is happening with both Adobe Camera Raw and Lightroom, with both pef and dng files. 😞   I updated both programs, but this didn't solve the problem.  The file is fine. If I save the file, everything is fine... its just the display.
