Why does a raw file change to 240dpi when you export it as a tiff from lightroom. I need it to be 300.

You 'Digital' images do NOT get "smaller"- They are the same PIXEL dimensions of the file you exported (without a resize).

Words of wisdom- "The ppi-number embedded in the image file by your camera (or a software Export) is meaningless as a measure of resolution. The resolution of a digital image is indicated by its pixel count, not its embedded ppi-number."

The default of 240ppi is embedded in Lightroom (Cloud) and cannot be changed.

Why do you want specifically 300ppi?

Regards. My System: Lightroom-Classic 13.2 Photoshop 25.5, ACR 16.2, Lightroom 7.2, Lr-iOS 9.0.1, Bridge 14.0.2, Windows-11.
