Removing images from Lightroom only

I have only started to use Lightroom a little bit. I have realized that I can utilize it as a vehicle to move photos taken with my iPhone to my Lightroom Classic. I have used it a couple of times and it works seamlessly. At least as so far. I don't take a lot of iPhone photos, but it's a nice feature to have. My question is, after I have the images in Classic I often don't need them in Lightroom Cloud anymore. Is there a way to remove them from the cloud but keep them in Classic? Can I move them from the synchronized folder to which they were downloaded, or is there some other process that will enable me to remove them from the cloud but still keep them in Classic? I'm new to "seriously" (at least sort of) utilizing Lightroom and don't fully understand all the implications. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Jim when sync is complete (downloaded into Classic) you can delete from the cloud either using the web app or the Windows/Mac desktop version. Nothing gets touched in Lightroom Classic so the photos will remain safe in your nominated folder(s)

Good to know. New to this aspect, so I wasn't sure what would happen. Thank you for that information.

I have the same problem- but I can't find how to delete from the web-based page. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure what you mean by the web-based page. If you have shared the image then it is probably in an album on Lightroom.Adobe.com. You would login on that webpage with your Adobe ID and password and find the image And simply delete it. Or maybe I'm not fully understanding your question. You would have to use the website if you aren't using Lightroom, the cloud-based version.
