Hi,

I've been having an recurrent issue lately with LR CC reporting damaged files on import (OMD EM5 Mk2).

However, on any other program, the files are read and imported without issues.

Any clue someone?

Thanks,

Chris

Hi Chris,

Sorry that you're facing an recurrent issue related to Lightroom CC reporting some files are damaged while importing.

  • What is the exact error message that you're getting?
  • Which version of Lightroom CC are you using?
  • How many files are being reported as damaged and are they all raw images from your Olympus camera?

Thanks,

Akash

Hello,

I'm talking about JPEG files here, not RAW.

The message is some files are damaged, showing grey zones.

In iPhoto these files load and import impeccably so I can use them in Elements.

Furthermore, some picture impors, unrelated to the above, get marked 'Some Photos Invalid' and will not sync to the cloud.

Thanks,

Chris

Thanks for the update Chris. Could you please provide us a screenshot of Lightroom illustrating the issue?
