Sony RX 100 VII & Lightroom 6

Hi I recently purchased a new Sony RX100 VII and attempted to import some pictures to my LR on iMac however received a message "not recognized by raw format support in Lightroom".I have Lightroom 6,version 10.14(6).

Lightroom 6 cannot be updated so your choices are:

• Take out a subscription for Lightroom Classic
• Use the stand alone DNG converter

You can batch convert a whole folder of Sony raw files into Adobe Raw (DNG) without loss of quality. The DNG files have backward compatibility and can be used in LR6.
