Two files per image after Enhance Details

using Lightroom 2.4.1


After running enhance details on files in a new import it causes Lightroom to keep both the original CR2 and the new DNG files. This seems a waste of space?

 

on top of this the mobile lightroom app does not stack the two files like the desktop version does!

 

Any way to make Lightroom remove CR2 for each image the DNG was made?
