Unable to cycle crop overlays

Hi! Wonder if anyone can help.

I'm trying to cycle crop overlays by pressing "o" when crop is selected. The only thing that happens is that it cycles between two small blue boxes - "hide overlays" and "show tool overlays". Also the rule of thirds overlay switches on and off. "ctrl + o" does nothing.

When accessing View > Edit Tools > Show Overlay > Cycle Overlay, the above continues to happen.

I've tried resetting my preferences, and am on Windows 10.

As I'm very new to Lightroom it's likely that I'm doing something wrong, but if anyone could help I'd be most grateful!

Thank you

The 'O' key is to toggle the overlay on and off, not for switching. As I type this on my iPad I cannot check the shortcut for switching, but it may be shift-o. Doesn't the menu show you which shortcut it is?
