When I export to the desktop and then print my photos to my Epson WF-3725 they are under exposed compared to the image in Lightroom. Does anyone have an idea why and how I can correct it?

There are many possibilities here. Let's start with a couple questions regarding color management.
Is your monitor calibrated, and if so, what is the Luminance/brightness setting?
Are you using a printing profile that is specific for your printer and paper?
