New here.  Was thinking it would be cool to go through my personal macos photos library and do some little lighting tweaks with Lightroom. Is there a way to save the update I make with lightroom right back to where I opened it from in mac photos?

The workflow you describe is not supported. The two applications each use their own catalogs and own cloud storage. There is no link between the two systems.

Hi gkelway,

Lightroom ecosystem and Photos app do not share their libraries and both are independent applications as mentioned by IanLyons above. However, we'd love to get this request and feedback submitted officially as a feature request so the engineering team can get this recorded. Could you please post this feedback here? Thanks,
