where should LR develop presets be stored

I use later LR CC and I use latest CAMERA RAW app.

I see the same develop presets in both these applications I don't remember seeing this before. I wonder if this is the way it should be or if I have the presets in wrong folders.

Any help appreciated. I should have added that I use iMac and 10.12.6.

The XMP files are usually found in the following location. In settings you will probably have separate sub-folders for User Presets and any presets installed from third party developers.

~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/Settings

This is the way it should be. Adobe changed it recently, so these applications now share the presets.
