I have a new nikon z6 and want to know if or how to open raw files on Lightroom 4.4 and camera raw 7.4

No, it's not. What you can do is convert them to DNG with the free DNG Converter. The DNGs will import. Or you could upgrade your museum version of Lightroom to a subscription to Lightroom Classic...
