Write-protected files are imported with the protection (MAC)

Copied

Me and quite a lot of other people I know use the write protection on the camera to mark pictures as favorites during a shot.

So far Lightroom was never able to work with that flag and still isn't. Would love to be able to filter for those pictures to import them first or give them a rating or flag on import. But that's a different story.

I started using a MAC for my editing. When I import pictures in Lightroom (copy-mode), they keep the write-protection. This leads to me not being able to change their filename on import. On Windows I never had that problem.

Is that a bug or is it intended to work like that? I still can't do anything with the attribute in Lightroom, so I don't know why it should be transferred when copying files.
