AMS EOF Will be something new from Adobe to replace it?

not really... just an observation but they've moved far away from anything to do with coding and going for creative more than anything I think.What do you think Robert?

I feel that too, but the thing I still don't catch is why they don't release every software managing  code  in open source so companies, game developers and hobbyist would be happy to take the relay and not trash years of hard work. And btw Adobe would have a much better image from the open source community which is now leader of web and system coding. Also as Wasm is becoming the binary standard for web and desktop, I can't imagine that Adobe won't adapt all its software to compile to this format.
