When I want to animate a character going down the stairs, the character is deformed when he begins to go down.

That sure looks like bad capture data.

It also looks like the footfalls are colliding with the ground plane.

*The mixamo data is no good. (any walking down stairs)

yes just so you know the link is to the old Fuse forum which is not allowed for non-Adobe staff

in any event yes this is a known issue and not going to ever be fixed because the real problem is the ground plan... you can edit in your engine; Iclone, Blender etc or just go somewhere else
