Mixamo addon not working on Blender 4.0

Could they please fix this, I was working on a project, and would really love to stick to Blender 4.0, its causing me a headache, i thought i could use, rigify, but mixamo's offers a faster workflow for me. Even when installing it takes longer and halts for some reason now, and i have to click to the side or resize the window to show the addon, when i proceed to activate it, the error pops up.

please @Adobe fix this.

Hey ! It worked for me too 😄 !

(I donwloaded Blender from Microsoft Store)

I'm on Windows 11, so it was a little more complicated to find the addon file, but for me it was in :

C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Roaming\BlenderFoundation\Blender\[Your current version, where the addon is]\scripts\addons\mixamo_rig\lib\version.py

A little worse than MacOS, but its ok 😉

If you struggle to find it, just try to install it, then go to open Blender > Edit > Preferences > Addons > Search for `Mixamo` > Click on the little [>] arrow icon right before the addon name

You'll get the type, maintiner, version, and what you search for is 'File'. For me, there was some "..." because it was too long, so complete it with what's on this support page. (As soon as you are in the 'Blender Foundation' page, it's the same for all normally).
