So far I have taken the following steps:
No errors in the “Install.log".
Startin Muse with pressed Shift key does not make a difference.
Muse 2015.2.1 ist working.
Any help or suggestions on how to get me back up and running would be greatly appreciated!

Muse should not be in focus while launching, try this if it resolves the issue.

this is a bug, isn’t it?
But it worked.
I started Muse with a double click and switched fast to the Finder - and Muse 2017 is running!

The prerelease build installs along side the shipping build. The two don't have any overlap.
