What should we help for? 🙂

What should we help for? 🙂

Muse manages its images by itself and you have no access to this behaviour.

  • Differently named images may have various reasons. The most important ones:
  • Muse optimizes images breakpoint-wise and thus stores different instances of an image in different sizes.
  • As Muse works like a layout application, it may happen, that you place different, but equally named images from different places of your computer. Muse has to rename at least one of these images, because they share one folder on your server ("images")
  • When you place images, you may crop them according to your layout. Muse exports not the whole image, but a croppen version under a different name (these ones normally have a "u1234" added).
  • Sometimes, Muse converts images from .jpg to .png (if you have allowed Muse to do so in "Site Properties") and has to rename these images accordingly.
  • And, and and …

So don’t worry about this! It is simply necessary for Muse to act the way it does, and you can’t and shouldn’t(!) influence this!
