I want to add video clips and loops to the websites I create in Muse.
I can't find information on what formats work with Muse. Is there a format that need to be converted and then added?
Hi Mike,
Muse supports both the embedding of .swf videos on the Muse site directly, or streaming of video content from video hosting companies like AdobeTV, Vimeo and YouTube. You can use the embed/sharing code provided by these services to include video in your pages.
For step-by-step instructions on embedding a video please check out the tutorial here: Adding a lightbox feature that displays video hosted on a third-party server
Best regards,
Corey

Easiest way to add mp4 or ogg video to your website!
<video width="320" height="240" controls>
<source src="yuor_preferred_directory\movie.mp4" type="video/mp4">
Your browser does not support the video tag.
</video>
Congratulations!
You have created video screen, which has play and stop buttons within the area you set!
Neat way to impress.
Use lightbox widget and add HTML-object in lightbox target. Then you have popup-screen on lightbox!
PS. you should use .mp4 as a default, because almost every device plays that format!

I have a website that I created with Muse and I have two videos auto playing and looping on the site. Works great on desktops but on mobile devises it does NOT auto play and on the iphone when you click on the video it opens a new window in YouTube to play it. Ipad says within the site but doesn't auto play or loop. Any advise out there to fix this?

I created mp4 file for my video clip
uploaded the clip to the server.
On the muse page I want to see the video I added iframe html referencing the mp4 file location
works like a charm for me
