Aloha.
One of my sites lost its ability to send/receive the simple email contact form.
I deleted the object, reinserted the object, and tried to publish.
I got the #1009 error about "cannot access a property or method of a null object reference".
I tried troubleshooting and was unsuccessful.
Since I designed it before Muse updated to responsive design,
I thought, ok. This site needs an update anyway:
So I rebuild the website (hours) and filed it under a learned experience.
Viola. I try to publish after the rebuild......and again: #1009 and muse crashes.
Now I am annoyed and trying to manage my client and my temper.
PLEASE HELP.
1) how do I fix?
2) how do I locate this "object" that "cannot be accessed?"
to good news = this site is fixable but it will take some work
your design of placing a text (browser width) on top of a div (also browser width) isn't going to work because the browser doesn't know what to do when it is pulled smaller
eg this;
should be this;
if you want the text box to GROW down as the browser gets smaller... thats going to make another problem on the divs below because they need to shrink and that will make spaces between them

uninstalled the Creative Cloud App,
restarted the computer,
reinstalled the Creative Cloud App,
Opened Muse,
Tried to FTP upload
and still: #1009

Did you build your site from scratch or by copy and paste?
Maybe you have copied the error as well?
Did you check your ELEMENTS panel for some missing?
Preran is there a list of errors, so that people can watch out?
I couldn´t find one easily and it would be great to find this easily .

Went through and individually build/inserted each new image.
Erased Contact and Menu and photo gallery widgets and re-created them.
Changed all "web-fonts" to system fonts.
HELP

ELEMENTS is not a panel.
However there is no exclamation marks next to any of the assets on the ASSETS panel.
PLEASE ADVISE.

you need to share the FILE and send a public link to that before I can open it... even as a private message to just me it still needs to be a public link
EDIT; I owe you an apology mate... Adobe cloud share isn't working today!

a null reference is a code term for blank space... I would assume some code in the form is not allowed to run on who ever your host server is
p.s, are you using a US based email service like hotmail?
yes = make sure you have name, address and message set to required fields.

I'm happy to take a look at the site file if you post it... to be clear, I don't work for Adobe but we need the .muse file however (not a html) to be able to test | fix the issue
I would also publish your site to a free test site on Adobe BC... at the very least this will help remove godaddy as the cause of the issue

fyi the form on that page will not work in the US because the fields are not set as required... US law doesn't allow that type of email anymore because of spam

do NOT try to send a .muse file by email
P.S, its a good way to work with others and works for the CC lib files as well... make a fresh folder for each project is best practice ime... here is a copy of some basic design files Dani made in one of her demo tutorials

The Adobe share services were offline yesterday, apologize for that. I see that you have contacted the support team. They should be getting in touch with you for further investigation.
