Add a custom target to a Hyperlink

I am wondering if it is possible to add a custom target attribute using the built-in Hyperlink tool.

My goal is to have an Accordion Widget and an empty iframe window on the same page.

When the user clicks on an option from the accordion menu, the following should occur:

     1. the iframe loads the link

     2. the accordion drops down to reveal the sub-box.

I have attempted to add an HTML object,

          <a href="http://www.google.ca" taget="internal" > Click Here</a>

into the top-box (one that reveals a sub-box below it) of the accordion menu, but I was unable to actually place it inside the box itself (to make it an actual part of the accordion widget).

notes:

(my iframe is named "internal")

Thanks
