I have added some placeholder graphics with a grey fill using the Rectangle Tool to indicate placement/arrangement of images.
I now want to place images in those placeholder graphics, but not as a Background Image.
I can't seem to find a way to do this with graphics created with the Rectangle Tool.
I do not want to delete the placeholder graphics and do a File/Place.. because it means I have to redo all the positioning and responsive attributes across breakpoints again.
Is it possible?
ou are using the wrong tool. A rectangle (created by using the rectangle tool only can be filled with an image. If you want an image placeholder, use the rectangle frame tool (I know, it is a misleading name; I’d prefer to call it „image placeholder tool")
