Most muse preloader widgets are, i wouldnt say fake, but they are faux. They just simulate that its preloading, as in these cases.....

1. The preloader keeps running and then vanishes but still page doesnt load, then page loads after a short black out period.

2. The preloader keeps running while i can see the remaining parts of the page loading behind it.

3. Some preloaders have a number of seconds parameter itself. Which shows it will display for that number of seconds and then the page becomes more visible. Till then the page is just with low opacity.

4. Preloader appears, screen is greyed out, you can see full page loaded behind, but preloader is still showing GIF and then releases page much later, even though its single page and all the content has loaded.

A true basic preloader would show percent or at least maintain the gif graphics (circle/flower loop) till the entire page has loaded into memory, without showing bits and pieces of the page in the background. Is there any such free widget which just does the basic job ?
