Hi

I'm really hoping someone may be able to help me out.

I recently had an issue in Illustrator where a piece of text become 'stuck' to the art board.  It's not within a locked layer it just will not move and I cant select it to delete it, it's as though it's not there yet it's visible.  I have tried everything and I'm unable to remove the text.

Although it's extremely annoying it's not the end of the world as I just created a new artboard and copied my artwork across.

However I have just experienced the exact same thing in Adobe Muse which is a real pain. Again it's not within a locked layer and I'm simply unable to selected it to delete it.  It's obviously not as easy to recreate a new website page....

I'm using a NVIDIA QUADRO K620 graphics card in a Windows 10 machine...

Any help / advice would be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks in advance

Kim

  • Did you unlock all locked elements by using the respective menu entry?
  • Do you perhaps try to select an element on your layout page, which is placed on your master page?

If not, can you please do the following:

  • Delete all other pages and all other elements, so that only this " misbehaving" object is left.
  • Save this .muse file under a new name.
  • Share this file with us, by following these instructions: https://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-8652

Thank you, I haven't used the locked elements feature before which is why I didn't think that would be the reason. 🙂
