Hi all

Any audio widgets out there that support FLAC (or WAV)? Can only find widgets that support mp3 or ogg.

Tnx.

I would convert audio files to a compressed web format (MP3) that everyone can play.   WAV is uncompressed  which results in bigger files and more bandwidth for people to consume.

Online Audio Converter - Сonvert audio files to MP3, WAV, MP4, M4A, OGG or iPhone Ringtones

MP3 has approximately the same sound quality but with much less bandwidth and wider support from all  major browsers  --   https://caniuse.com/#search=audio

mp3 and ogg are the standard

wav is not used much but yes you can find some old widgets that allow it... odds are many browser will fail to load it however

Flac is not used outside special senarios and I don't know of anyone making a widget for Muse... thats not to say someone with basic code skills couldn't make it but just that nobody got around to it

p.s, Flac is just a kind of mp3 that doesn't throw away the data compressed... it has a place but its not main stream
