I'd like to design a website for a cunsulting & counselling business
My client said they want the capacity for people to book sessions online and pay online.

Is this possible with Adobe Muse?

(I found a booking widget with Paypal option only. I want to function that can afford visa or master card..)

If not, I have to use Wix..
But I really afraid about Wix site speed.
I think Wordpress is difficult to me because of code.

Please answer this question!
Thank you.

Have a look at Free Online Appointment Scheduling Calendar Software | Setmore

Muse Themes have a widget for Setmore

Setmore also have their own widget Book Appointments from Your Muse Website | Setmore

Setmore also has its own App Setmore Appointment Scheduling on the App Store

A Wordpress plugin will not work with Adobe Muse.

Adobe Muse does not have a payment feature built in as such.

In your situation you would:

  • seek a 3rd party payment option that was suitable for your client's type of business
  • integrate the 3rd party option with Muse's Insert HTML option, or
  • by choosing a suitable Widget from the Adobe Muse Widget Directory

If you were to use Wordpress the procedure is pretty much the same.

Adding a widget or Inserting HTML seems much simpler in Muse than Wordpress (in my opinion).

If you were to use a site builder with store features built in, you may find that you still have to follow a similar procedure as they usually work in conjunction with 3rd party, it's just that the integration is more seamless in the build process than in Muse.

You could try Jotform, which is form vendor that offers multiple payment options. You would integrate their features with Muse's Insert HTML Option.

You might even want to look at Adobe's Business Catalyst options.

Which ever option you choose:

  • your client will have ongoing fees and/or a processing fee deducted from each transaction
  • the management of the Integration will be handled outside of Muse, and from time to time you may have to perform manual updates in Muse
  • In some cases you may have to purchase a security certificate for your client's domain to get a payment integration working on your site

Please note I do not work for Jotform, I am simply sharing my experience of adding 3rd party features/integrations into Muse.

There are a lot of options available to you via Adobe Muse but what it comes down to is what is most suitable for your client's needs.

Thank you so much for suggestions.

Actually I can not find a proper widget which provides payment system after booking.
There are just for booking, not including payment system.

Do you think is it possible to put WordPress plugin on the web site by Adobe muse.

(Because Word Press has a lot of plugins for booking + payment)
Because I saw the tutorial to connect Word Press Adobe muse design.

Can you give advise about it?

Thank you again.
