Can Muse create interactive data collection elements

I'm looking to build a voting polls element in my site in which the visitor would click on either option A or option B. Then, after the visitor has chosen, it would display what percentage of people have either chosen option A or option B.

Does Muse even support the option to collect data that way?

No. This is dynamic server-side stuff. You have to use an external widget from such a survey/ polling service and set it up there.
