Hey all,
With the most recent update to Adobe Muse, the checkbox for 'show lightbox parts while editing' is disabled while using a tooltip widget in either stacked or scattered mode. Unfortunately the update also broke the third-party widget I was using for these dropdown menus before (tooltip layers behind other page elements when viewing the page in the browser), so in the process of replacing the third-party widget with Adobe's tooltip widget as a workaround I ran into this. Not sure if this is intentional or not with the rollout of responsive widgets, but it's a huge problem on sites with large menus using multiple tooltips for dropdown menu items - it's messy and makes it difficult to edit other page items.
This is not a bug, however intentionally put off for a while to eliminate few other bugs with composition widget.
However, the remedy is there for our next release and a pre-release build shall be out shortly.
Apologies for the inconvenience.
Regards,
Ankush

Any timeframe to have this option restored? It's a bit more than an inconvenience.

No timeframe. You will never get a time frame for an update release from any software company.
But you can join the Muse prerelease programm.
