Hello,

I have a bit of a problem. I cant seem to edit images on a site using the inbrowser editing. I published the site in Muse to ftp. Inbrowser editing works with text but nothing happens when I click on the images. I did upload the site to a non business catalyst site.

Am I doing something wrong? Adobe muse says that images in widgets should be able to be edited.

Hope someone can help me out. Thanks!

Thank Gunter,

You are right, I just found the inbrowser editing website and I should have read it more carefully.

In-Browser Editing allows you to edit text content and replace all images, except the following items:

  • Master page content
  • Vertically oriented text
  • Images set as background fills in rectangles, image frames, and widgets
  • Slideshow counters
  • Form submit buttons
  • Dynamically generated menu labels (in Menu widgets not set to Manual)
  • Rasterized page items: This includes images with rounded corner

Without knowing the address of your site to have a look nobody can tell you much. Presumably you may have applied some formatting and styling that would break when editing the images and they are locked for a logical reason.

Hello,

On slideshow images rollover frame is used, as a result, you are not able to select images in the slideshow.

Please try removing the rollover frame then check.

Regards,

Ankush

You only can edit placed images, not image fills!
