Contact forms text not disappearing when I enter text

In my contact forms when I try to enter text the text isn't disappearing like it should. I created a new widget from the list and it's still not working. Big trouble.

I can`t recreate your issue. Does your contact-control-panel (blue arrow) look like this:

You can click the whole widget and you can click only one item and change any settings.

However, in any case, on my side the example text disappears as soon as I hit my keyboard.

Did you put extra text inside?

I haven't changed the contents at all, just the style. I also tried the same thing with the default widget unedited and it happened.

Apart from what Uwe has mentioned, could you also select the text fields of the contact form and check the different states for any changes.

This does not provide a solution - you cannot individually change the states - with text in all or not - show text in field when empty does not disappear when you click the cursor in a text field - only when you start typing - this should be fixed.

Could you provide a simple .muse ? One page, your widget as you have it in the screenshot?

You filled in something, didn`t you? I can read ENTER NAME above "this is the problem".

Upload your .muse to BC and place a download button, which should be linked to this file, of course
