Hi All!

I am a graphic design student and I have an assessment which is to create a fully working website for a client of my choosing. I have a few questions in regards to creating a website!

1 - I have created a new site with 1200 max width 320 min width and two break points. One at 960 and the other at 768. Is this a good way of creating a website so that I can view the website on multiple devices easily?

2 - When I created my break points I have some circle shapes applied to master pages that begin to distort in odd ways once they get to smaller break points. How do I fix this? I have attached pictures for reference.

Any advice would be awesome!

Answers:

1. Yes, view tutorials for guidance here: Create a responsive web page |

2. You need to set the shapes to resize both width and height together. Also experiment with fluid pinning as to where you want the shapes to stay.

What is the easiest way to get rid of the excess outside?

Should I just create semi circle in illustrator?

Exactly. Create those elements in Illustrator/Photoshop and place them as an image, which you can crop within Muse.
