Any chance of being able to customise the thumbnail / poster image of a YouTube video when using the default Muse widget (different from the one assigned on YouTube)? Or an alternative of having an image over the video until clicked?
Here's an example of desired results (bottom of page): https://www.nespresso.com/careers/index.html?temp=1&country=CH&language=EN#/
Thanks in advance for any input.
Looks like this needs some custom coding and cant be achieved with the help of native Muse widgets.
Please refer to this doc - jquery - How to overlay a play button over a YouTube thumbnail image which might help you further.
Thank you for your input and solution. While this was marked as the correct answer (most likely due to my slow response trying to make it actually work), I am still having difficulties actually implementing the suggested code in Muse (trying to do it via HTML object). This is particularly difficult trying to make this work on multiple breaking points where the video would have various sizes.
Any concrete example of how this would get implemented in Muse?
Thank you again for your time and suggestions,
