Don't think "Hide all initially" is working right

Hey folks, hoping to get an answer to this.  I just used a template to update my portfolio site.  www.treevfx.com  It works pretty well, but the load time on the main page is really slow, and I would love to speed it up.  I did a pingdom speed test, and the lag seems to be that it is loading every single vimeo embed that is on the page.

The thing is, the lightbox that holds all the vimeo embeds is set to Hide all initially.  So shoudln't it not worry about loading all those until clicked?

Thanks!

1. FYI, Muse development is over.  Support officially ends in a few days.

2. If you want fast loading web pages, don't use Muse.  Deferred or Lazy Loading is not possible in Muse.  Ideally you should be using modern software that has active development and product support.

3. The Medium website platform uses Lazy Loading of images and videos.  Read more about it on Google Developers.

https://developers.google.com/web/fundamentals/performance/lazy-loading-guidance/images-and-video

4. Another example is this Lazy Load plugin for WordPress sites.

https://wordpress.org/plugins/lazy-load-for-videos/

Good luck and happy coding!

Yeah, I saw that it was going away after I had already made the site.  I was hoping to remedy the slow load, since I'm not a developer and just stick with this for a while.

But if thats impossible, maybe I will remake it again 😞

Was trying to avoid that since this isn't what I do and it takes me forever.

Thanks.
