I have a website (my own) that is made with Adobe - Muse
hosted via tsohost
Do I continue paying after 2020 for Creative Cloud, or can I use muse without this.
Do I keep paying monthly subscription untill 2020.
What happen if I stop subscription now
What happen in 2020 - will there be a final download.
Any help/input would be great
Why is that answer set as corrrect? Ridiculuos, really!
Of course we can use Muse after 2020 – the only issue may come around if browsers or OS from PC or Mac will not continue working with Muse further more. So as long as you use a "working" OS with the last Muse shipped in 2020 you can use Muse as long as you can keep the then current OS. Plans from Adobe are quite clear abourt that – only Nancy doesn`t know.
Here´s the announcement to find and read: End of service for Adobe Muse together with

If you stop paying for CC, your CC software stops working.
I don't know what Adobe plans to do with Muse after 2020.

I've never heard of a free Muse download.
My understanding is that XD (Experience Design) has a free version you can download. XD is for prototyping.

Not confirm I am pretty sure that Muse will go the way of Fireworks or any other deprecated CC app.

Here´s the announcement to find and read: End of service for Adobe Muse together with one screenshot. It´s quite easy to find in this forum:
If I understand or assume correct we don`t have to pay the subscription after 2020 but of course there will be no technical support anymore and even this forum will no longer exist, this might be one question left, if there might be a channel for "Musers", the official channels from Adobe stop working at that time (2020):
The only correct part, you have to keep your paid subscription until 2020 at least.

Hi Andy, you´re welcome. AND don`t panic
It´s a pity though, that the technical support lacks of this information.

Sorry for the bad experience with our support, however I have send a feedback to them for quality improvement.
By end of life means end of development and no further support even if something breaks after 2020.
But the software will still be available in our repository for your use.
We are still having a discussion with top management regarding the further pricing policy for muse, hope we will come up with a user friendly decision very soon.

Ankush

Uwe,
Not ridiculous really. The original question was about EOL pricing. I think I answered correctly based on available information. Beyond 2020, it's unclear what Adobe will do with MU pricing. But based on past experience with Fireworks and other legacy Creative Suite 6 products, this is Adobe's official position. Creative Cloud now includes Creative Suite Master Collection and Design Premium features
Adobe creative apps are available exclusively through Creative Cloud.
As of January 9, 2017 Creative Suite is no longer available for purchase.
OK. So we know Adobe does not typically give away software after EOL. If you wish to keep using legacy CS6 and you don't already own a license for it, you must join Creative Cloud to get it. If you stop paying for CC, both CC current and legacy apps will stop working. That's how it works currently. And I fully expect the same thing to occur with MU after the March 26, 2020 deadline. But we will all have to wait and see what Adobe does at that time.
