Equally extednding text height in state buttons.

Hey,


I have a problem with text columns in state buttons and text columns in general.  I would like to make them expand equally even though there is different amount of text.

I Any ideas how can I do that ?

If you place elements  onto/into a rectangle, the rectangle expands synchronously with the height of the elements within. This is common and expected behaviour.

  • To achieve, what you want, you have to make sure, that the text boxes don’t expand vertically differently.
  • A text box expands, when the text within doesn’t find enough room to be displayed.
  • A text box doesn’t expand, when the text within finds enough room to be displayed.
  • So, the solution is this:

Of course this behaviour has unavoidable limits. If the amount of text is too different, you have to think about adding breakpoints.

(… and please, please don‘t use justified text in the web! Since hyphenation isn‘t widely supported by browsers, this looks terrible!)
