Fading Logo

I set up a logo to auto fade in on a splash page (I know, but client insisted) through a blank composition widget. It worked fine for a few days (business catalyst mode) but now it’s stopped working and I can’t figure out why. I’ve gone over the settings numerous times, deleted the logo and started again but I just can’t get it to work.

Would be grateful for any help. (pic attached of settings)

It should work!I think, the problem is, that you switched on „Hide All Initially“. In this case, you have to activate the composition target by click, otherwise it won’t appear. What happens, if you choose this configuration:If the starting transition is too fast, place  one more trigger/target in front of the target with the logo. This means:1. trigger/target: trigger invisible, target: no content2. trigger/target: trigger invisible, target: logo3, trigger/target: trigger invisible, target: no co...

I think, the problem is, that you switched on „Hide All Initially“. In this case, you have to activate the composition target by click, otherwise it won’t appear.

What happens, if you choose this configuration:

Screen.jpg

If the starting transition is too fast, place  one more trigger/target in front of the target with the logo.

This means:

1. trigger/target: trigger invisible, target: no content

2. trigger/target: trigger invisible, target: logo

3, trigger/target: trigger invisible, target: no content

If this doesn’t work for you, do the following: Create a new site with only one page and only the „misbehaving“ composition, to demonstrate your issue. Upload this .muse file (without assets) to Dropbox or a similar file sharing service and provide the download link here. Then we can have a closer look.

Thanks for your reply Günter

It was working fine with hide all initially turned on.

I will try your other suggestions over the weekend and if i can’t resolve the issue will upload the file as suggested.

Hi Günter

Dropped in to a new file and it works fine!

Could the problem be that the mobile breakpoint is causing confusion?

Don’t think so. I passed you question to the Muse Prerelease Forum.
