Featured News click to close (EN\FR)

Hello everybody,

I would like to set click to close on the widget Featured News because i use it to show information and contact. In the mobile version the widget is taking 80% of the screen and it's hard to find space not used for click and close it so i would like be able to close it with clicking on the trigger and the target how ca i do this ?

Je voudrais mettre en place un cliquer pour fermer sur le widget "Gros titre" parce que je l'utilise pour montrer les information et les contacts. Dans la version téléphone le widget prend 80% de la taille de l’écran et ca devient dure de trouver un endroit inutilisé pour cliquer et le fermer donc je voudrais qu'il soit capable de cliquer sur le déclencheur ou la cible pour pouvoir le fermer, comment pourrais je faire ca ?

But the „featured news“ composition has a close button, which you can enable in the widget’s configuration panel.

yes i know that but i don't want to have a close button, because it's superfluous

As you see, it isn’t "superfluous“.

But why don’t you make the close button transparent in every state, delete the „x“ and extend it to the size of the target? Then, clicking/tapping the target will cause the target to disappear.

Ok i found a "solution" i duplicated the widget and set it in click to open and click to close and i hid it in every other breakpoints it's not very clean but it's working

and i didn't make a close button transparent because it's make the page bugging

Never ever encountered something like this.

(By the way: It would be quite helpful and time saving, if you tell us, what you’ve already tried. It would prevent us to suggest solutions, which aren’t new for you.)
